Dates:
First official competition briefing ONLINE at 2000 BST Wednesday 21st June 2023. This briefing is intended to provide all key information regarding the format and instructions for the championship, reducing the length of time needed for the first on-site briefing. It will be recorded for anyone who cannot attend live, but all pilot are encouraged to join so that you have the opportunity to ask questions etc. The link will be posted here nearer the time.

Competition flying Thursday 29th June to Saturday 1st July 2023
Reserve flying in case of bad weather will take place in the morning of Sunday 2nd July before prize giving.
Prizegiving ceremony is anticipated for 12pm BST Sunday 2nd July
Entry fees and costs:
Standard pilot entry fee £80. Fees include all competition maps, camping, use of shower, toilet, and water facilities. For registrations after the 21st June, a £20 late entry surcharge is applicable. More details of how to enter in this article.
Facilties on-site:
Showers and toilets will be provided on site, along with briefing / social marquee.
Catering:
A range of hot and cold meals will be available to purchase from the Naafi cafe on site and additional catering specific to the event. Please visit the cafe website for more details.
Accommodation:
Camping is available on site with shower and toilet facilities. We cannot confirm at this time if we will be able to provide power hookup for the campsite / camper vans, but power will definitely be available in main marquee for charging devices. Camping is free for competitor and sponsors. Guests are asked to pay £5 per person per night.
If you prefer not to camp, we have two recommended options within 5 minutes drive:
The Premier Inn Ramsgate (Manston Airport) hotel offers low price hotel rooms.
The Manston Court Holiday Park offers static caravans or cabins and is offering a discount if you state that you are attending our event.
Competition format and tasks:
The championship will be run according to the same “Endurance” format used successfully in the UK since 2018. The task catalogue and rules and regulations from the 2022 championship can currently be viewed here; any changes for 2023 will be minor and will be published here when ready.
